Her Last Project – A MAID Documentary

March 11, 2023 @ 8:00 am - March 22, 2023 @ 5:00 pm

“Her Last Project” – A Must See Documentary

VIDEO LINK: Her Last Project – Please Click Here

The documentary tells the story of Dr. Shelly Sarwal following her multiple system atrophy diagnosis and decision to undergo medical assistance in dying. Shelly dedicated the short time she had left to educate the public about personal agency and leaving a legacy of organ donation.

Her Last Project opens the door to conversations about life, death, and dignity, and what that means in our society.

BON has collaborated with Story Money Impact, an organization that is connecting mediamakers with changemakers for the benefit of society, the producers of “Her Last Project” documentary.

You will receive a link to view the documentary before March 22 in preparation for participating in the March 22, 3:00 pm virtual panel discussion. There will be a recorded version for those unable to participate on March 22. All is free for BON members.

The panel members are:

  • Randy Tresidder, the husband of the late Dr. Shelly Sarwal and organ donation advocate
  • Dr. Stefanie Green, MAiD practitioner, President of the Canadian Association of MAiD Assessors and Providers, and author of the bestselling memoir This is Assisted Dying
  • Moderator: Anthony Truong Swan, Impact Director at Story Money Impact

This is one of many new partnerships and endeavours for BON in 2023.
