Bereavement Support Program, since 1997
One-on-one support from one of our Bereavement Support Providers, a “listening ear,” over the phone or in person. We are unlicensed supporters for recent normal grief; will refer out for longer, complex grief. One hour monthly for one year after the death for our families; six free sessions for anyone in the Kingston and area if they did not come to James Reid prior.
Groups for the bereaved held once annually: Paint Night, Kintsugi, Craft Night, and Candle Lighting Ceremony.
Short-term group for the bereaved: Walking Through Grief at Lemoine Point, spring and fall, six weeks.
Lending Library of books on grief, available onsite.
